This is my second attempt at product photography and I am still trying to figure it out. Here is an image of a vaping unit and some e-liquid. Please let me know what you think, and no need to be nice, I would rather have honest. Thanks!
For iPhone users - a new version of Bluristic has dropped (v1.8) which offers new features and significant improvements in stability & useability.
I am interested in learning Macro/Closeup photography and understanding that Focus Bracketing is a good part of the process, I thought I would give focus stacking a try.
Another visit to our garden using a vintage lens (Canon FD 50mm f/1.4) on my Canon R5. NOTE: With this lens the minimum focusing distance is 18" at which point you have 1/4" depth of field.
Was down in Austin for a bit on a work trip. I've always heard how beautiful the skyline is from the river.
Was a little let down by the clouds, but what can I do!

Brendan - I'd say a lot works in this pic, esp the smoke, the BG and the horizon. Flaws i see are: no key light on the vaper, and no relationship between the two objects. In fact, the bottle is so standard, it takes away from the modern design of the vaper thingy. I'd lose it altogether. Add the logo or don't.
A side rim on the vaper or double rim with one side more dominant is how I'd treat it. And/or a top light -- always something to consider for product work.
But this is a great start!
