Focus Stacking ~ New to Me
I am interested in learning Macro/Closeup photography and understanding that Focus Bracketing is a good part of the process, I thought I would give focus stacking a try.
Vintage Lens
Another visit to our garden using a vintage lens (Canon FD 50mm f/1.4) on my Canon R5. NOTE: With this lens the minimum focusing distance is 18" at which point you have 1/4" depth of field.
Austin, Texas Blue Hour
Was down in Austin for a bit on a work trip. I've always heard how beautiful the skyline is from the river.
Was a little let down by the clouds, but what can I do!
Two from Tenerife
My two favourite images from my recent night time adventure in Tenerife. Foregrounds and skies were shot separately and blended in PS.

Wow. This is a great image :)
Thank you :-)
your light is good, just would say that your composition they are a bit too much apart, you can bring them closer together. Also, your choice of color for the background doesn't work well with overall image. You have red and aqua colors, which they already are opposites and work well together, so you could try and find a background color opposite of both, or complementary, or a neutral color, black, grey or white.
And the right side glass, you need a longer one just so the horizontal line doesn't break, basically you should have only two edges of the glass visible, like the left side one.
I like your lighting, I think you did very well getting the polished faces to show and the transparency of the bottles.
If you redo this image, I would love to see the result.
Thank you for the tips. It´s true, as i finished the image i saw that the backgorund color is not optimal, but it was too late to change it because of all the reflections on the plate. But i didn´t realize the breaking horizon with the right glass, but you are totally right, that´s not looking good. When i find time, i will redo this shot and will show you the result. Thanks for you comment.
