I am interested in learning Macro/Closeup photography and understanding that Focus Bracketing is a good part of the process, I thought I would give focus stacking a try.
Another visit to our garden using a vintage lens (Canon FD 50mm f/1.4) on my Canon R5.
NOTE: With this lens the minimum focusing distance is 18" at which point you have 1/4" depth of field.
Was down in Austin for a bit on a work trip. I've always heard how beautiful the skyline is from the river.
Was a little let down by the clouds, but what can I do!
My two favourite images from my recent night time adventure in Tenerife. Foregrounds and skies were shot separately and blended in PS.

Matthias, I think your watch face is great, nothing to point out there. The problems are the case, because you lay flat you don't have how to light it from underneath. There's also lots os weird reflections on the bezel and the lugs. Your pusher buttons and crown are a bit lost in shadow. If you rise the watch, you'll see you're going to have a lot of more freedom to light the case and crown. In my experience laying it flat you'll get better results with a broader light and white surface, with it suspended you can sculpt the light much better.
Hi Carlos, thank you for your comment. I totally got the point with the pusher buttons and the crown. They are a little bit to dark. I consciously chose the sandblasted ground because a white ground seems to boring for me and i think the aluminium and the chrome from the watch go well together. But you´re right, in this combination i should have taken more effort to light the crown accurately. Thanks for the hint.
