First Product Feedback Please

Hello everyone,

I would appreciate any feedback. This is my first try at shooting something like this. Watched some youtube videos on focus stacking and product photography, was really intrigued, and thought I would give it a try. I decided on this ring because it has a lot of texture, and dings from wear. I thought about smoothing out the dings along the sides, but felt it would have taken away from the feeling I get from this ring. I shot it with a Canon 7D and Canon 60mm Macro at 4.0

Focus Stacking ~ New to Me

I am interested in learning Macro/Closeup photography and understanding that Focus Bracketing is a good part of the process, I thought I would give focus stacking a try.

Vintage Lens

Another visit to our garden using a vintage lens (Canon FD 50mm f/1.4) on my Canon R5. NOTE: With this lens the minimum focusing distance is 18" at which point you have 1/4" depth of field.

Austin, Texas Blue Hour
