My first shot at product photography

Hi group,

See below my first product photo, obviously a composite of several photos I shot. I followed instructions by several youtubers on the topic. What I like about product photography is the controlled environment and I believe if one is a good product photographer, he has a lot of what he needs for other types of photography, such as lighting techniques and photoshop skills. So I think that I will put my near future efforts mostly into product photography.

If you don't know what an audio interface is, the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 is THE audio interface for people playing electric guitar at home, using their computer as an amplifier. There are programs that provide song packages with guitar tabs and the quite exact sound of the guitar in the song. Typically, I first study a song until I can play it by heart and then I go to youtube, look for a studio version of the song and play along until I tire of it and move on to a new song. Depending on the song this takes between 1h and several weeks. This just to give you some context for the picture.

Please provide me your feedback on what you think works and what doesn't in the attached picture. Thanks in advance !
