I wanted to see how my 50 year old Canon FD 800mm f/5.6 s.s.c. would handle photographing both the Sun and the Moon.

Sterling in silhouette
I held a lighting workshop recently. Sterling was the model. I rarely shoot silhouettes but I wanted to incorporate that arch into a shot. Backlighting became an obvious choice.

Not to bad for a first :-)
Some details to correct, maybe :
- the perspective doesn't add up : you see the "water" from above, but the object from its level. You should be able to see a bit of the top of it.
- the color of the liquid. I'd keep it in blue tones.
