Hey peeps!
I casually browse through Fstoppers and I do find so many interesting articles but one thing that really keeps me diving in fully is the lack favorites/list where you can access articles that you have marked earlier and want to read again later or I'm totally blind/idiot and can't find the function on the site. Usually the situation is that I read something that inspires me and I want to try it later but when I come back to it, I either won't remember the name or if I did save it into my browser favorites, it takes way too long to search as I have around 400-500 often used pages as favorites and also it would be so much easier that if the feature was implemented to the site itself.
It would be so much easier if every article had a small button where you could favorite it and in that way return to it when you have the required situation/time. So is there such a feature or should I continue bombarding their e-mail with the suggestion to add it into to the site?
Download the Pocket app for your phone or computer. Pocket is an app that stores articles for offline viewing. On the iPhone, you can tap the Share icon and save it directly to Pocket. When you open the Pocket app, it'll download and store the article. Quick and easy and only takes a few sections. You can even add Tags to articles so you could create a Photography or FStoppers tag category. Then all of these favorite articles would be available to you at any time with or without an internet signal. It'll be much faster than waiting for FStoppers to add this requested function.
Caveat...videos will not download and be saved on your phone. However, if you have an Internet signal, you can tap a video icon and stream it at that time. Bottom line though is that the article you wanted to save for viewing later is still with you.
