Trials in Composite Lighting

Hey everyone, I've been getting a bit more into automotive photography as of late and I'm trying to fines my look a little bit.

The FIESTA ST was lit using composite lighting, mainly shot through a large strip box and a large soft box. While the BMW was lit using composite lighting, shot through a 5' umbrella. I'm still not 100% sure which method I like more.

What is your guys preferred method of lighting cars?

I do prefer the fiesta shoot.... Would be nice to see without the lights on

Good job :)

Be careful with the colors on your BMW shot. The area around the model has a distinct color grade that doesn't stay consistent with the entire image.

I really like the BMW that you have there. You just dont see those often, and I think they're sharp cars

is it a 745i (or similar)?

Thanks Stephen! Sorry for replying a million years later, but it's a 750i.
