Hot Rod Night

This was a first for me. First time light painting and compositing one. Shot on a Nikon D5200 with the kit 18-55 lens, a broken tripod, and a shop drop light to do the painting. What do you guys think?

It turned out really nice, especially with the little obstacle you mention. I think the inside of the building was too bright though. It almost obliterates the outline of the roof of the vehicle. It may just seem too bright because it's nighttime outside.

Was the reddish light on the side of the building something you did, or was it already there? It makes me wonder if there's more to the story off to the side, without distracting from the car.

The red would be from the taillights of the car.
