I spent most of the morning exploring sections of Sumter National Forest. This particular section is located in a quail conservation area / pine plantation.
I felt the need to go connect with nature this morning, and this was the perfect place to do it. Unfortunately, I didn't have my big lens with me so shooting wildlife pics produced mediocre results. I decided, instead, to just sit and "be," watching the birds as they flew in and out of the nesting area. As I was packing out, I noticed the light through the trees which seemed to make everything so warm and nice. Not one to leave without making any photos, I decided to shoot a few of the jeep "in it's natural habitat."
For the second (tall) shot, I wanted to focus more on the size of the trees than the jeep, so I created a panorama by stitching together 4 photos.
As always, cc is greatly appreciated! What would have done to make these images better?
