Did a shoot for my workplace showcasing the current inventory of Boss Mustangs.
Shot on a scissor lift in our car park using a Nikon D800, a Tamron 24-70mm, and with natural light.
I originally bracketed 5 exposures for each of the two polarizer turns to be safe, however, I managed to get away with just using 3 of them in total for the cars; 1 for tires/black interiors, and the remaining two were for the vehicle bodies polarizing both the tops and the sides.
I would normally try to determine the backplate first when shooting for a composite image, however, the sun was coming up and would soon become less desirable/manageable. Instead, I jumped straight in to get the images I needed which later caused a great deal of difficulty in finding a similarly shot image of a desert landscape -- understandably, not many desert shots seem to be taken from anything much higher than a tripod.
I did eventually find something pretty close (this landscape was from Adobe Stock) and so I think I've just about managed to adjust it to suit.
Very well done Dominic. Thanks for all the technical info.
