Athens photos
A few shots from the winter of 2025. The last one was inside of the Acropolis Museum. (Unfortunately, I could get everyone to walk exactly where I wanted them to. hahaha)

Focus Stacking ~ New to Me
I am interested in learning Macro/Closeup photography and understanding that Focus Bracketing is a good part of the process, I thought I would give focus stacking a try.
Vintage Lens
Another visit to our garden using a vintage lens (Canon FD 50mm f/1.4) on my Canon R5. NOTE: With this lens the minimum focusing distance is 18" at which point you have 1/4" depth of field.

I like the mood and light, definitely feels a little cold and blustery!
I don't know if I care for the tilt shift effect blurring/defocusing the car. It's the subject so generally it should be pretty in focus. Also shifting the car to the other side of the frame would put the negative space where the car is pointing and that's generally a more pleasing composition.
Thanks, yea I did the blur mainly because I felt the building was taking to much attention and got carried away.
Yeah I feel that. But luckily the color of the car definitely makes it the central focus of the image. When I'm trying to generate more background separation I've gone in with the brush tool in LR (or your favorite image editor) and mildly desaturated or darkened the background. Try just knocking down the highlights instead of the whole exposure, it'll make it a bit more natural.
Cool thanks for the tip
