Athens photos
A few shots from the winter of 2025. The last one was inside of the Acropolis Museum. (Unfortunately, I could get everyone to walk exactly where I wanted them to. hahaha)
New version of Bluristic available

Focus Stacking ~ New to Me
I am interested in learning Macro/Closeup photography and understanding that Focus Bracketing is a good part of the process, I thought I would give focus stacking a try.
Vintage Lens
Another visit to our garden using a vintage lens (Canon FD 50mm f/1.4) on my Canon R5. NOTE: With this lens the minimum focusing distance is 18" at which point you have 1/4" depth of field.

Very nice! I like the presence of strong blues, greens, and yellows in an otherwise desaturated shot. Did you strengthen those colors in editing?
Hey Xander, only the blue color had got more emphasis, the greens some what. The yellow color hasn't got any extra strengthening.
I've used the Pixel shift application on my camera.
Cool! The only thing I might recommend is adding some green tint to the light from top light fixture. It would be cool to bring more green into the image and it also is a bit peculiar to have two similar light fixtures with very different color casts. I know they're probably different bulbs but from the image that's not apparent.
Yeah that feature looks great and I'll just have to watch enviously from my A7iii :)
Thank you for the suggestion; I'm gonna try to make a change later on...
Let me know how it works out! It's an awesome image regardless.
Thanks Xander!
