I thought I would try out my 50 year old lenses: Canon FD 50mm f/1.5 SSC and Canon FD 28mm f/2.8 on my Canon R5 with the use of the appropriate adapter.

Single Light Headshot
Client came and needed headshots immediately. Set up a single Broncolor Para 133 in the dining room. Delivered 20 pics. Setup, Shoot, Edit and delivered within 30 minutes.

The first shot is generally good, the colors are actually nice and the composition is somewhat good. The focus could be better, specially on the other photos. Something which you’d learn over time. The second photo is actually pretty decent. Maybe try it again next time, but bring something to light parts of the car with, like a decent size flashlight. And one thing when you photograph a car with the wheels turned, always make sure the rim is facing towards the camera. Like on the 2nd shot, it would look better if the wheels were turned the other way. But yeah, learn the camera and basic techniques, and most of all, enjoy your time with it and take lots of photos. See where it takes you. Goodluck! Oh and wash the car next time you decide to take pictures of it !
