Cassidy

Old photo, new edit. I had a few hours to kill at work so I decided to re-edit a photo I was never quite happy with. This is my first post in this forum. Please feel free to be critical. No sugar coating necessary.

I would have had her pick her head up towards the skylight above her and have her look down with her eyes. It would have thinned out her face a bit and accented the shape of her face. It also would have eliminated the deep shadows under her cheek, her neck a bit, and her eye lids, and brought more light into the eyes too.

Editing is a bit to much contrast for the narrative here too, I would also soften up the shot a bit. Remove some of the contrast and bring the saturation up a hair.

Thanks for the advice. I'll be sure to look out for those adjustments on my next shoot and edit. Much appreciated.

Agreed, too much contrast in the editing for the inherent shadows from the lighting. I would like to see how this looks in black and white though.
I also think the top of her head is cropped a little strangely. Maybe slightly lower.

I see what you mean. Kind of stretches the top of her head. Thanks!
