Minneapolis Aquajam

First post to a group, open to CC. If you are familiar with Mpls you have probably seen the Cherry and Spoon statue at the Walker Sculpture Garden, this is a nod to that iconic MPLS landmark. These were taken at the MPLS Aquatennial skate contest hosted by Familia Skate shop/park.

These are great. The timing is pretty good. Maybe a little early on the flip but I'd accept it. Typically they like the shot just before the catch. Only other thing I'd say is try to move around a little more. This is a good angle but changing it up can be great. The main thing for me is that you didn't do the floating guy thing that a lot of new extreme sport shooter do. Gotta see the rider, the board and what theyre riding for context. Good job!

Thanks for the feedback. I agree these three are a little repetitive, all obviously came from the same spot. Best angle I was able to get with the crowd, and the lens (70-200) that I was shooting. Took a few from other spots and they just weren't my favorite.Great tip on the kickflips, I will pay more attention to board placement. Appreciate the comment!

Right on, keep killin it!
