Chris, Nice image. I like seeing surf images that aren't always big air or cutbacks on large waves. I like that it is obvious that he is working to get everything out of the wave.
Thank you Douglas. yes, I shot several of him and others to see what was possible to capture from shoreline. The truth of surfing is most surfing is done on waves like this, not the big kahuna waves of Hawaii. Those are great, iconic, and powerful, but these are the shots we're most likely to see when we go looking.
