Athens photos
A few shots from the winter of 2025. The last one was inside of the Acropolis Museum. (Unfortunately, I could get everyone to walk exactly where I wanted them to. hahaha)

Focus Stacking ~ New to Me
I am interested in learning Macro/Closeup photography and understanding that Focus Bracketing is a good part of the process, I thought I would give focus stacking a try.
Vintage Lens
Another visit to our garden using a vintage lens (Canon FD 50mm f/1.4) on my Canon R5. NOTE: With this lens the minimum focusing distance is 18" at which point you have 1/4" depth of field.

Brant is a good dude. Good friends with Paul aswell. Stoked to get tires on his new little set up next week. I like both but i like the frist one more. Typically I'm not super into a really tight framing but sometimes its the right shot and this was the right shot! They look awesome
Ya he is a cool dude. Worked on a couple things together. I like both for different reasons. First one has better body position and a bit of tension which I like. The light to. Hate the tire cut off though and can't see enough of the room. I prefer the 2nd image but wish the body position had more tension. I wanted to see more of the room. That said, he makes it look easy and chill. Also, I should have got a ladder instead of hanging off the side of the top deck which was awkward. We might re-do the shot in a couple weeks. I'm an old (52) mountain biker and don't ride park but enjoy riding Rays. If you like park you should have fun as everyone who rides in there seems to have a blast. Brant and some guys played a game of "bike" before we shot this. Thanks for looking and have fun, Rays is a blast!
Typically I would not be into the tire being cut off but I think it works for that photo. Also typically I would like a wider framing to see the rest of the room but I feel like it would be more distracting. I don't know I just like it.
But yeah I ride everything. Dirt, park, street. Doesn't matter to me.
the first one mainly because the front wheel is closer to the lens and just adds that much more "extreme" ness. if you get what I mean
