Long exposure in sport photography. Do you also use it?

Hello fellow photographers,

I recently joined Fstoppers. One of my big passions is sports photography, next to street photography. I was wondering who of you also uses long exposure settings in their sports pictures. And if so why do you use it? My reasons are: it makes my pictures more dynamic, more creative and to challenge myself.
