Burgerporn

Shot this recently for a better burger brand and wanted to get feedback as to how it might be improved.

Any C&C greatly appreciated.

Possibly exposing what's between the top of the egg and the bun. I believe it's bacon, but it's difficult to tell for certain.

Th topping is pickled onions so completely agree that that part of the shot didn't translate correctly. Cheers!

These are great. they would be a little better to me if the onions/bacon or toping is on top of the egg extended past the edge of the bun to be more visible.

I'm not a product photography expert but they made me hungry so I think they work. ;) But I agree with the comments about toppings.

In general the photo is well lit. My problem is that the bottom bun was cut very thin and is proportionless. Also, aren't there any greens in the burger? I can't seem to see any. The idea of the action shot with the egg is cool but I would like to see the drip after the first cut on the first photo.

Good job, keep up!

The cheese (or egg) overflow is a bit over the top but otherwise I like the idea.
I think the choice of background on the first shot wasn't sooo great. Al the stuff behind the brim of the plate/pan are distracting even though "bokeh-ed" out. That pale column, peg or whatever in the top right corner puls the eye away from the "star".

The bun was soggy and dead by the second shot and again the BG, even though "bokeh-ed" out distracts with the different colours and structures.

I think that the last shot should have been deleted. Either paper, plate or wood for the BG. The bottom bun has vanished and like mentioned before, more bacon would have been cool.

How big was the egg??? That's about half a litre of goo running all over the place.. :)

The handheld shot would be the best one if the bread wasn't so thin.

Love the light and the spot on white balance.
