Athens photos
A few shots from the winter of 2025. The last one was inside of the Acropolis Museum. (Unfortunately, I could get everyone to walk exactly where I wanted them to. hahaha)
New version of Bluristic available

Focus Stacking ~ New to Me
I am interested in learning Macro/Closeup photography and understanding that Focus Bracketing is a good part of the process, I thought I would give focus stacking a try.
Vintage Lens
Another visit to our garden using a vintage lens (Canon FD 50mm f/1.4) on my Canon R5. NOTE: With this lens the minimum focusing distance is 18" at which point you have 1/4" depth of field.

I like it in general, but two things distract me:
1. Image is tilted (the milk shows it) counterclockwise which makes it unnatural.
2. The two slices in the foreground are blurred too much. I know it's done so they don't distract from the loaf but because of that they seem to be floating weirdly.
I like the toning and composition is nice.
Thank you, Marcin. I really appreciate your comments. They are right on spot!
The overall composition and tones are good. I would also fix the tilt. The main improvement would be picking a food with more color and texture interest, and bringing more light to the central focus point. A white icing drizzle or fruit topping would make this a much more interesting photo.
