Havana #17

The beauty of Cuba is the people, their availability and their warmth. For all of the issues that they must live with and the negative light in which many people cast upon them I've never been disappointed.

And in truth their infant mortality and malnutrition rates are lower than in the U.S. and their literacy rates are greater.

Shot with a Sony RX1 utilizing a fixed, Zeiss 35mm lens set at F4 and 1/500 sec.

This image was done in late 1980s on Polaroid's instant slide film Polapan - a prefect film for beauty and boudoir photography as skin tones were rendered silky.
