I took a trip to Chicago this spring. I walk one block from the hotel to the L Station. I was fumbling with the camera to get all of the settings correct, then I lookup and this what I saw. My very first photo of the trip turned out to be one of the best photos from the trip.

A bird I have not come across before. In my ignorance I just assumed it was a variety of Toucan.
I feel fortunate to have ben able to capture it with my lens.
I felt very fortunate to capture this beautiful bird. I have not heard of this bird before and in my ignorance assumed it was a Toucan variety.
