I've started to use my walk to work to search out signs of life in my home city. I'm looking for positive messages, and things that will make my day a little brighter for having seen them and then turned that discovery into a photograph. This is fast turning into a series, and changing the way I view my world. There a positive things going on and if you make the effort to notice them you can start reading the signs of life.

A bird I have not come across before. In my ignorance I just assumed it was a variety of Toucan.
I feel fortunate to have ben able to capture it with my lens.
I felt very fortunate to capture this beautiful bird. I have not heard of this bird before and in my ignorance assumed it was a Toucan variety.
