I've always been a big fan of using fill flash with my underwater fashion and glamour photography. Fill flash gives a great pop to the face and gives clothing nice definition. Here are two shots that were taken just minutes apart - one with and one without flash. Which one do you like best?

This was originally a shot with my Hasselblad of a bright blue shy and a very white cloud plus some trees. I had to shoot higher in order to avoid acrs and people.
I must admit I have been lax in both my shooting and posting recently, perhaps due to the fact my wife has now retired, and we are spending a LOT more time together doing various activities.

Your flash is too close to the camera. Therefore, it does not look as soft as that without flash
Beautiful picture. I prefer no flash as well when I shoot unless I'd like little more define and harsh light.
