Thanks Chris. This photo was taken as you ascend to the rooftop of the Duomo Di Milano (Cathedral of Milan). There is public access to the rooftop and you can walk along the marble spires and up staircases to the very top. This particular image is of the side of the building on the level just below the actual rooftop.
