Hey everybody, my name is Rex, I currently live in Saint George, Utah. Most of my photography is one landscape or another, but on occasion I'll dabble in portraiture. Working with kids is still a pretty new realm of photography for me. I can tell you this, I learn so much on every single shoot with kids. I have found that my favorite images almost always tend to be the more candid ones, where they aren't paying attention to the camera at all.
Yo Rex! In keeping with the children-looking-off-camera theme, here's one of my old favorites from when I was first beginning my adventure into photography. I was focused a lot on candid street shots with my 300mm. I found this little boy playing with his ball in McCarren Park and got a lot of good photos. Something about this one always made it my favorite. The boy is just so in the moment, the ball is moving, and there is magic in it for me.
