I have been working through all my SSD exts, which are filled with thousands of photographs, most of which are dross and need to be deleted.

Beautifully lit. At first look it didn't resemble a library unless you mean a library in an old house. Either way it is beautifully composed lit etc.
Thank you Scott, Its been taken in natural light. It is a public library, but a very small one ,which no-one visits thankfully. A great location, I got some wonderful shots.
