Has your approach to lighting changed in recent years?

I've been doing corporate events for 20 years, and during that time, my approach to lighting has changed several times as technology advanced and my toolkit has expanded. For a long while, I relied on big handle-mount Metzes to let me bounce in relatively large spaces. Then, I gradually moved to regular speedlights combined with off-camera Lumedynes. Later, as sensor efficiency improved, I adopted mini speedlights on-camera and full-sized speedlights off-camera. Nowadays, I still use that last combo when needed, but having moved to new 35mm-format cameras and bright primes over the past three years, I'm increasingly working flashless, letting ISO drift up to 25,600 and applying DxO's DeepPRIME noise reduction. I still drag all my lighting gear to every job, though, because you never know...

Anyway, I'd be interested to hear from any of you who've either made similar changes or chosen a different path.
