An Experiment

When I started with photography, a couple of years ago, I bought a Marumi Achromat +5 Lens Adapter. Just for figuring out, if I like "Macro" or not... This adapter was laying around... So today I put it on my Sony 90mm macro lens. Just for fun and to see how it is working....

All the pictures are not cropped. I'm aware that I missed the focus sometimes, but hey, it's just an experiment, right? ;) I assume that the magnification could be around 1.7:1 to 1.9:1. I don't know how to calculate it properly...

I really like the results and the image quality seems to be okay. The pictures are edited, but not cropped.

Beautiful results!

Thank you very much. The next step is, to add the 26mm extension tubes to it.... ;)

These are very good .. you should be pleased with the results.

Thank you very much. I'm really surprised of the results. They are way better, than expected. ;)

Niceee.
the bee one is fantastic well-done Gion

Thank you very much Jeremy.

Have no idea how I missed this post. Very well done. I'm going to have to take lessons from you.

Don't worry about missing my posts... ;) Thank you. I don't know if I would be a good teacher... XD I'm only trying to use my knowledge about photography in Macro. But I'm still need a lot more practice. I think that's the key to everything: Practice, make mistakes, learn from them and (most important) have fun! ;)

Not sure if that was a type or not, but I said that I should learn from you, not you learn from me.

Heck, today was the first time I got a 5 star rating on one of my photos. I feel as though I'm getting better and I seem to take better photos when I don't use my extension tubes.

I was considering getting that raynox macro attachment.

SORRY typo! XD should be "I don't know if I would be a good teacher..."

How embarrassing... It's too early in the morning... ;) ...where is my coffee!
