A few pics from Mom's back yard.
Here're a few shots from my Mom and Dad's back yard. The Monarch caterpillar was tiny 1/1 on a micro 4/3 sensor and cropped about 50%. Grasshopper was tiny too, not taken at 1-1 but cropped to close to it.

Foggy start to a Sunday morning
Down on the waterfront this morning, tide was out, Heron were sitting along the water fishing. There was a boat coming across the water from Bremerton heading into Port Orchard.

Nice! I like the chrysalis. Grasshoppers ar so "jumpy"... really hard to get a picture of them.
I have a field next to my home and when you step into it, there is like a wave of grasshoppers in front of you. Even though, I was not able to get many proper shots of them... ;)
Thanks! I usually have a hard time with grasshoppers too. I wanted to get a shot more from the front, but was satisfied to get the eye in the shot and in focus.
