Would you like a napkin?

This Dragonfly (male eastern pondhawk, I think) was perfectly happy to pose for me. Flew off came came back several times, but wouldn't wipe his face for me. I offered a napkin and wiped my face a few times, but nothing. Usually when working at this magnification (1-1 on micro 4/3 sensor) I spot fix a spec or two, but that's not going to work here. Enjoy!

He has something in his eyes... ;) Nice shot.

Dragonflies are very territorial. Even if the leaving, because of, they are coming back.

Thanks I like working with Dragonflies. There territorial nature makes it easy. If you don't chase them there pretty easy. When they fly off just stay put for a few a lot of times they return. They won't all let you get this close but, it's not too hard to find one that will.

Nicely done, the cool toned colors are fantastic.

Thanks!
