The Spineyback Orbweaver

Florida has lots of wildlife and these little weavers are some of the most interesting. Smaller than a pinky nail, this one spun its web that blew around in heavy wind. Shot with 40mm macro, it dipped in and out of focus, taking dozens of shots to nail a focused pic.

Interesting creature !
Orb weavers can be a real challenge to focus on when they are rocking in the wind, specially the small ones.
The problem is that you have to get the aperture closed down enough to get that extra bit of DOF and at the same time the shutter speed high enough to compensate for the rocking motion.
This one seems to be in focus, but you may have got a little motion blur... maybe try with some extra light or up the ISO.
