Macro Holiday Lights

Was having fun and thought I'd share these. Holiday light filaments. If you have a set, you know just how small these little filaments are! How small have you shot?

Taken with a Nikon d5500, 15mm Macro Lens, Reverse mounted on a Bellows full extended. Hand held.

Cool idea! I like the second one best.

Laowa? or?

The Opteka.

Different browser, larger screen... I'm in, Joe.

That's an amazing, tiny thing. I like the big picture of the Christmas lights to demonstrate how tiny the filament is.

Crazy small, and I couldn't even fit the entire filament in frame. I need to build a light for the end of the lens bright enough to light frames this small. I might be able to use a speed light, maybe.. hum..

Light...lighting... my knowledge is small. I still have an old Vivitar flash from my first SLR, but danged if I remember much about how to use it. :)

I read that as vintage, and was having flash backs (pun not intended) of old flash-bulbs that were one time use. :)

In today's terms... that old Vivitar flash is definitely vintage. It's in a box, somewhere in the house. :)
