First macro in the garden

Like many here, I've been tempted to the dark side :) while we're under lock down. Newly arrived macro tubes getting a workout today. I used LED lighting to add pop and separation.

May I ask for criticism on the macro technique specifically so I can improve, although if you have thoughts on the subjects and compositions those are also welcome!

Thank you very much! I will need a lot more technique to really nail these types of shots.

However I'm quite taken by the thought of doing a series of these extreme closeups of flowers to a quality sufficient to print BIG - like 36 or 48 inches. If nothing else, it'll get me flexing my creative muscles and I'll learn something along the way.

I really enjoy the first and second one. The second has an awesome colour work! Well done!
