Moss

Some macro shots I took of moss over the last few months. How could I have done them better?

Isn't it amazing how intricate plants are? Flowers (often called weeds) grow beneath our feet and we rarely see them. This moss is like that. The beauty and details are often missed because it is so small.
For your consideration, you might try using a speedlight and high shutter speed to highlight certain areas of the plant and allow the rest to go black. For example, highlight an area of buds or flowers and let the background be dark. This will bring the viewers focus to a certain area of the plant, instead of the eye wandering through the image.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll try that out!
