Foggy start to a Sunday morning
Down on the waterfront this morning, tide was out, Heron were sitting along the water fishing. There was a boat coming across the water from Bremerton heading into Port Orchard.

Canon EOS77D with 18-55mm lens and 21mm extension tube. F/5.6, 1/200 sec, ISO 100.
Nice I like the colors and depth of field. A faster shutter would increase your keeper rate. But the motion blur does seem to work here shows how quick they are and the head and face stayed sharp enough.
Yes, I do agree with you for faster speed but it was cloudy day and was not enough light coupled with fast movement of ants. So it was a kind of compromise. And I do not prefer to use flash, try to use the natural light as much as possible..
