Here are a couple long exposure shots using my original 50 year old Minolta SR-T201 and kit lens shooting Fujifilm Neopan Acros 100 II. Both images were taken just at the end of blue hour.

Good detail and focus on eyes is dead on. I do wish it had a better background though. Did you happen to get any other angles?

You are right. This was sitting on white wall. These species generally live on trees & bushes and they are more active in nights only. So to picture them is somewhat difficult.
When I found this sitting on our compound wall, I immediately grabbed the chance. I had hardly few seconds to click some pic. This was the best - the spot on.
We have very similar ones here. I hear them all the time starting in the mid to late summer and the fall. Still haven't gotten a pic yet though. I've been close enough a few times, but never with a camera in hand.
