I liked this photo for the pose and color, althought I seemed to have missed a bit of sharpness. This was at 1/125 sec, and with my completely non-stabilized setup, I usually need faster to eliminate blur. But other than that, I'm curious what people think or where I could have improved, both in cam and post-process.
Nice subject back ground separation. A faster shutter may have gotten it a bit sharper. I think I would have tried to get a bit lower and to the side to get the eye more in the shot and tried to get the focus on the eye. Or go a bit higher and focus on the wings. Over all not a bad start though. Keep it up it takes a lot of OK and decent shots to get a few really nice to great ones.
