Hello Everybody,
Here is a photo I took of Seattle in the winter of 2017. It is one of my favorite photos as it portrays the calm/peaceful environment represented by the still waters of the Puget Sound while showing the movement and buzz in the awaking city. It also portrays the dull, cold, cloudy mood that its citizens are usually greeted with this time of year.
I expected to see a vibrant sunrise the day I took this photo, however (as often happens) I was disappointed to see the cloudy skies. It wasn't until opening the images on my computer until I saw the potential and it became one of my favorites. Let me know what you guys think. Feel free to offer constructive criticism. I'm always trying to improve my photography. Thanks!
I like this one. I can't see what the lighter bits on the shoreline are but they give the impression of pools of light and this contrast makes the image work. I would have removed the sand bar in the foreground but that's just a personal thing.
Thanks! The lighter bits along the shoreline is the ferry pulling into the harbor. I appreciate your advice.
