Tiffany in Backroads and Boots
Part of my series, Backroads and Boots.
Model: Tiffany Chen.
Purple Finch
I like playing with these photos of Purple Finches where I make their reddish/purple color stand out.
Like Watching Paint Dry
Latex paint takes about 1-2 hours to dry and it was faster than taking this image!
New Lens = Play Time
I picked up an RF100 f/2.8 L Macro lens and thought I would practice and see what I could come up with.
All photos are multiple image focus stacked.
Captivating Cafe in Paris
That haunting mental image of a woman you glanced at while walking past a Paris cafe...

Cool shot!
Thanks Brian.
Hi cool I love the shot, well balanced with lots of colour. Is the sky a bracket short/composite or maybe you reduce the highlights a lot? I'm not sure why but it looks too dark for the actual photo, like it does't fit? Either way, great photo.
It is a composite of 7 photos at different times over the course of about 30 minutes. I wanted to capture natural light, the artificial light, best sky and have enough exposures to erase all the people walking around. I think the sky could definitely come up a bit to make it look more natural. Thank you for the feedback!
Ah I see, It looks like it is just a tad too dark. As for specific there are some shadows of people still if you zoom right in :D near the right of the bridge, and above the left of it. There seems to be vertical distortion too on the right of the building too.
Theres definitely more pros than cons to this photo.. I love it actually. Where precisely is this taken? Easily a 4/5
Thank you so much. It’s in Greenville South Carolina on Main Street. The reedy river runs through it and there is a waterfall further down.
I think you are right I need to go through with a fine tooth comb and zap out all those inconsistencies.
