Melbourne Long Exposure
The Yarra River in Melbourne during winter. Looks frozen, but it's just a long exposure. Desaturated everything except the orange and yellows to give a "Sin City" feel to the image.

This is a nice composition, but for some reason I feel the sharpness is wanting. You may have posted this at a low resolution.

Nice view, and I like your idea on the partial desaturation. The clouds reflecting the city lights really helps the moodiness as well. However, I agree with the comment on sharpness below. If that's as sharp as the image is that you have, maybe if you soften it even more with a painterly effect?
