Hi there,
I'm an offsite student from Sardinia in Turin, Italy. I'm not seeking a career into photography as engineering school already owns the credits for my constantly raising hair loss rate, so better not to push my brain limits too much as the gap from engineer to mad-freaky guy is pretty tight.
With that being sad, I find my self mostly passionate in Landscape and Cityscape photography, but living in a big and historic city I usally shoot more of the second genre, so I posted my favourite cityscape images I took in Turin, in which I tried to apply Elia Locardi's "blending time" kind of style.
I'm looking for a critique and a feedback, and most of all for tricks and advices on how to improve my photography. Starring them in my profile would be very much appreciated also.
I know gear does not make the shot, and also rent, bills and college fees already pierce my pockets so I'm not really able to upgrade it at the moment, but I'm shooting with a Nikon D90 and a 17-50 2.8 Tamron, which does the job at low ISO (too noisy at 800 already) and if I really get my composition well and don't need to crop it.
Be cruel and rough If you want to, it'll be all taken as constructive criticism anyway.
Peace
Great photos, comrade!
Thank you sir
I like these. Provides a further draw for me to try to get to Turin on an upcoming trip. Thank you for sharing them.
Do feel like the first image has some more potential in it though. There are so many strong lines and shapes and perhaps there are to many in the one frame, or the lamppost on the left is too distracting.
