New to medium format and learning to be better in photography. One of my objective is to shoot this location from different angle and different time period to eventually come up with the "best" view that's every taken (I know... just run with me for now).
One of the way I've found learning new camera features is (apart from reading the boring manual) to have small projects and see how you can use your equipment to shoot better.
I wish the trees are fully green (in few weeks they will be) and more clouds to reflect sunrise more.
Like both shots, what was the iso at? I think if it was super low, and change would have made for the buildings to be sharper detail wise.
Thanks, ISO was 100 for both the pictures and I used lee filters.
This was shot about 1Km far from the city (a river divides both sides) and this is the lowest I could get from this viewpoint.
However, my next objective (in 4 weeks) is to revisit this place when there are enough leaves to cover the lamp posts and the empty space between both sides of the river.
Maybe this weekend I will try to get closer to the riverbank and see how it goes.
Below is another viewpoint (Shot using Google pixel as part of my scouting) that interests me with some improvement. Will post next week.
Nice, Rhonald. Second shot is nice & clean with attractive soft light. Seems like it could have some commercial appeal as well for travel sites / literature.
thanks, appreciate it.
