Small town cityscape

I've always spent my camera time focusing (pardon the pun) on nature, but lately I've been working on a "small town" project where the focus is more on small rural towns and their history. I was lucky to catch a great sunrise over this town square one morning, but didn't like the original edit. I just revisited these with some new Lightroom skills, and feel like these may be good additions to the project. My biggest annoyance with the courthouse image is the uneven line at the bottom because of the angle I was standing at when facing the building. I'll eventually make it back to get a (hopefully) better shot.

Other than the funky angle on the courthouse image, what would you change to make these images better? Would a different camera position be better, or could processing be better? Any and all CC is greatly appreciated!

Mark, my only CC would be on the second photo. I would add a little more of that street in the foreground. Processing overall is good. Hope this helps.

Thanks, Will! I agree... adding a little more of the road would help. I'm planning another visit to this town square soon (when I can catch the right weather), and I'll try it. Also, I'm going to try a slightly different angle to hopefully get rid of that odd diagonal line caused by the curb.
