Savannah Smokestacks

These are from a decommissioned power plant along the river that is now a hotel. It was a foggy night, so I used a long exposure to create the smoke effect from the spotlights.

Excellent image, Tom. There's an interesting playoff between the sharpness of the structure and the soft painterly quality of the sky and the fog lit by the lights. There are also subtle subliminal parallel diagonal lines strengthening the composition formed by the roof's edge of the building at the base of the smokestacks, the top of the smokestacks and the upper limits of the light.
