Hi, although I don't think this particular shot is a good image compositionally there are many ways in which you could make it better ( though I don't think it would be a good shot ) First correct the warm tones, after all you're focusing on capturing car lights not street lights! ( You can do this by cooling down the temperature ) Second thing is stacking, if you take multiple images of cars so that they fil up all the lanes, they will stand out from the background a lot more. You can do that by layer masking the lights on top of another and using the lighten blending mode in Photoshop. With these two things, the lights will stand out from the road much more and will create a cool image. Though I'd look for better compositions too! Keep shooting, I'll follow you to see the progress :)
