Recently I've started to dive a liiiiiiittle bit into long exposure photography. These photos are part of my ongoing series titled "Cut-Off" about my hometown. I don't think they're traditionally like most long exposure photos but I do like the way light exposes itself at night. Thanks for looking and I'd appreciate any questions, comments, and critiques!
Just a few shots - not of the art but the building interior!
I held a lighting workshop recently. Sterling was the model. I rarely shoot silhouettes but I wanted to incorporate that arch into a shot. Backlighting became an obvious choice.
I must admit I have been lax in both my shooting and posting recently, perhaps due to the fact my wife has now retired, and we are spending a LOT more time together doing various activities.
I wanted to see how my 50 year old Canon FD 800mm f/5.6 s.s.c. would handle photographing both the Sun and the Moon.
