I was recently in Miami with my wife and though I research popular areas to photograph the skyline I ended up finding this spot which I wasn’t expecting. As an experiment I took the panorama several times over the course of an hour. When I got back only one set had this gorgeous color. I guess there really is a small window of ideal light. Just a few shots - not of the art but the building interior!
I held a lighting workshop recently. Sterling was the model. I rarely shoot silhouettes but I wanted to incorporate that arch into a shot. Backlighting became an obvious choice.
I must admit I have been lax in both my shooting and posting recently, perhaps due to the fact my wife has now retired, and we are spending a LOT more time together doing various activities.
I wanted to see how my 50 year old Canon FD 800mm f/5.6 s.s.c. would handle photographing both the Sun and the Moon.

The colors and light are fantastic. The only thing I think could be worth trying would be to crop it more from the left. The structures on the left (after the last tall building) don't really add anything to the overall photo.
