I must admit I have been lax in both my shooting and posting recently, perhaps due to the fact my wife has now retired, and we are spending a LOT more time together doing various activities.
The Sun and the Moon: Edited to add last photo
I wanted to see how my 50 year old Canon FD 800mm f/5.6 s.s.c. would handle photographing both the Sun and the Moon.

nice shot good color a little off on symmetry and a bit grainy probably from post try shooting at a lower stop
Thanks for the comment Joseph. I think crop sensor and long exposure is the culprit for the grainy part however if not I am happy to hear from the experts.
Nice shot. I think if you had moved forward a bit, and not showing the beach, the shot would have been better. I also think that the glowing pipe in the upper left corner is a bit distracting the above would have fixed that also. It would also be nice to see something real at the end of the jetty, from here it looks like you tried to do that but it didn't work out and is just distracting. Awesome Shot though.
Thanks Nathan
Very cool shot. Tranquil. I have one from east coast that is similar but not a long shot.
Thanks Chris. Yours is cool too!
